<p>When Saul was a little boy, he used to listen to stories about a place called Eretz Yisrael ? the land of Israel. Everything he heard inspired him and he longed to know what it would be like to live there. He dreamed about being barefoot in the sand; about digging deep into the soil to plant young saplings that, with time and patience, would grow into strong trees full of apples and figs. When he was old enough, determined to make his dream come true, he devised a plan to travel there. But what happens when your dreams come true? Are they as you had imagined them? Follow Saul in this heart-warming tale about growing up and making your dreams come true. Discover the people he meets along the way and the importance of accepting everyone, no matter where they come from. Great things await us all if we are patient enough to discover them and if we are brave enough to pursue or dreams.</p>画面が切り替わりますので、しばらくお待ち下さい。

<p><strong>"You <em>ate</em> the story?" says one mouse to the other in this funny, heartfelt read-aloud with pitch-perfect repartee and Barney Saltzberg's signature take on the joys of creativity.</strong></p> <p>Two miceーone big and one smallーhave a terrible problem. Little Mouse is looking for a storyーthey’re in a book, after all!ーand Big Mouse has to admit the truth. The story is gone. And (gasp!) he ate it. That is not okay with Little Mouse, who is all ready to hear a story and will settle for nothing less. Saltzberg's improvisational dialogue showcases both the patience required of true creativity and the dazzling on-the-spot storytelling that can happen when you get in the flow. In the end, these endearing mice work out their conflictー and make the reader realize that they’ve been delivering a story all along. Parents and children will want to take this satisfying comedic journey together again and again.</p>画面が切り替わりますので、しばらくお待ち下さい。

<p><strong>When a kid is teased about their lunchー the response is one of humor, creativity, and empathy.</strong></p> <p>When a classmate mocks their lunch, the storyteller's imagination takes flight. Clearly, the classmate doesn't realize that sandwiches don't know any words and can't be insulted. Also, the kid seems confused. Perhaps they think the sandwich is a strange fish. Or a space rock. But these are not the reasons for the classmate's bullying. Sometimes they come to school with no lunchーor food they throw away. The narrator concludes that the kid is not truly mean. But hungry. And offers them half a sandwich.</p> <p><em>You Made Fun of My Sandwich</em> tackles two tough topicsーbullying and hungerーwith a sensitive yet lighthearted hand, skillfully combining humor and empathy. A section for adults at the back of the book shares discussion questions to help children develop empathy and imagination.</p>画面が切り替わりますので、しばらくお待ち下さい。

This book is written with love based on a true story. Becky Kelley took her nephew to see Santa and he asked, Wheres the line to see Jesus? It is our hope that this book brings a great message into your hearts and homes about the true meaning of Christmas. May you all be blessed by the innocence of children and enjoy the view of the world through their eyes. About the Author: Judith L. Sawyer is a Catholic, born and raised, and has a psychology degree specializing in Marriage and Family. Her inspiration comes first from her cousin Adolf Alexander Noser, S.V.D. who was an Arch Bishop in Papua New Guinea who lived his whole life serving God, wrote a few books himself and when she was 7 he blessed her. Currently he is going through the beatification stage of being canonized a saint. His book Living with God in My Heart will soon be republished. Judiths inspiration also comes from her children. She is a mother of three and was searching for a book to teach them how to pray and who God was. Not being able to find one resulted in the writing of her first book This Is How I Pray. She writes, My children are significant to me because when I was 27 I had a brain tumor with a rare disease and was told it was improbable that I would ever have children. So for them I am grateful to God. I believe that God uses everyone for His purpose and I wanted to share that with children when they are young so they understand the gravity of their lives from a higher perspective. I love God for my life and am ever so grateful to be able to share my experiences to help in my own little way to make the world a better place for our children. Becky Kelley was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She first sang on stage at the ripe age of 2 and never looked back. Singing and dancing her way through high school, she ended up going to college in Nashville, Tennessee at David Lipscomb University. It was there, she started to get a taste of the Nashville music scene, singing and performing with some of Nashvilles best. After college, Becky decided to go back home, get married, and settle into a family life. Apparently life had other things in store, as she eventually found herself being pulled back into music, recording in the studio and welcoming an exciting new chapter into her life all while embracing her current life at home. While life has gotten busier, it has also become richer. Becky loves using her gifts both in the professional world and also singing her baby girl to sleep at night, praying God is leading her every step of the way.
