＜p＞Wissenschaftliche Studie aus dem Jahr 2017 im Fachbereich Pflegewissenschaften, Note: 2,3, Hochschule Fresenius; Hamburg (Carl Remigius Medical School), Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die Studie besch?ftigt sich mit der Fragestellung, inwieweit Rollatoren tats?chlich St?rze von Senior_innen verhindern helfen bzw. welche Fatkoren dazu beitragen, dass Nutzer_innen eines Rollators gleichwohl st?rzen. Die Studie gibt auch Hinweise auf die Sturzfolgen. Der Sturzprophylaxe wird in der Pflege ein hoher Stellenwert einger?umt, weil bekannt ist, dass ?ltere Menschen - wie sie vorwiegend in Senioreneinrichtungen und in der ambulanten Pflege betreut werden - vermehrt st?rzen. Um solche St?rze zu vermindern bzw. die Sturzfolgen zu reduzieren, werden Rollatoren verordnet, weil sich die Personen daran festhalten und abst?tzen k?nnen. Zudem erm?glichen die Rollatoren einen leichteren Transport z.B. der eingekauften Waren, weil sie s?mtlich mit einem kleinen Korb ausger?stet sind und die zwischen den Haltegriffen montierte Sitzgelegenheit die M?glichkeit gibt, sich zwischendurch hinsetzen und ausruhen zu k?nnen. Die beschriebenen Vorteile greifen allerdings l?ngst nicht bei allen Nutzer/innen: in der ambulanten Versorgung st?rzen Senior/innen immer wieder mit den Rollatoren und sie ziehen sich dabei mehr oder weniger schwere Verletzungen zu. Es war daher Ziel dieser Arbeit, zu untersuchen, wie viele Personen trotz Nutzung eines Rollators st?rzen, herauszufinden, ob die gest?rzten Personen sich im Vergleich zu den Personen, die nicht st?rzten, unterscheiden und schlie?lich zu dokumentieren, welche Verletzungen sich die gest?rzten Personen zuzogen. Es wurden 168 Personen untersucht: 95 Personen nutzten den Rollator ohne damit zu st?rzen, 73 Personen st?rzten trotz Rollatornutzung. Zwei Beobachtungsb?gen, die die aus der Literatur bekannten f?r das Sturzrisiko signifikanten Faktoren erfassten, dienten als systematisches Erhebungsinstrument.
