Einleitung In der modernen Historiographie, speziell in der russischen, liegt in den letzten Jahren das Hauptaugenmerk auf der Regierungszeit Stalins. Als Ursache daf?r kann man die seit ?ber 10 Jahren stattfindende Aufarbeitung der eigenen Geschichte ansehen und somit die Untersuchung der Verbrechen die unter Stalin ver?bt wurden sind. Mit dem Zusammenbruch der UdSSR sind zahlreiche Dokumente zug?nglich geworden, die dieses Kapitel der Geschichte der Sowjetunion um viele Facetten erg?nzen. Man kann diese Forschung mit der Nationalsozialismusforschung in Deutschland, die nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg einsetzte, vergleichen. Zunehmend spielt bei den Untersuchungen der Herrschaft Stalins auch die Ant isemitismusforschung eine wichtige aber leider weiterhin untergeordnete Rolle. Daher soll die vorliegende Arbeit sich dem Antisemitismus in der UdSSR bis 1953, dem Todesjahr Stalins, widmen und unter der Kernfrage stehen, welche Formen des Antisemitismus in der Sowjetunion bis 1953 zu finden waren. M?gliche Ursachen bzw. Hintergr?nde des Antisemitismus sollen desweiteren hinterfragt werden. Letztendlich soll untersucht werden, wie sehr die Politik in der Sowjetunion diesen Antisemitismus beeinflu?te, ja sogar sch?rte. Um dieser Kernfrage nachzugehen, sollen ausgew?hlte Beispiele von antisemitischen ?bergriffen bzw. antisemitischen Tendenzen unter Ber?cksichtigung des historischen politischen, wirtschaftlichen und sozialen Hintergrundes untersucht werden. Der Aufbau dieser Arbeit erfolgte bewu?t nach einem chronologischen Schema, um Kontinuit?tslinien bzw. -br?che, im Bezug auf den Antisemitismus, besser zu veranschaulichen. Die Untersuchung beginnt mit einer Betrachtung der Entwicklung des Judentums im Zarenreich, um die Situation zu verdeutlichen, in der sich die Juden zur Zeit der Gr?ndung der Sowjetunion befanden. Au?erdem sind hier die Grundlagen eines verbreiteten Antisemitismus zu suchen, der in den K?pfen der Menschen, die in der UdSSR lebten, weiterhin zu finden war. Bez?glich der Regierungszeit Stalins sei angemerkt, da? in der Historiographie Stalin oft mehr Kontinuit?t zum Zarenreich, als zur Revolution von 1917 nachgesagt wird.
