Die vorliegende Hausarbeit besch?ftigt sich mit dem 1954 ver?ffentlichten Roman 'Maigret und die junge Tote'.1 Dass die Wahl auf diesen Roman gefallen ist, ist Zufall. Mit diesem Vorgehen soll der Charakter eines Experimentes erhalten bleiben. Untersucht werden soll der Roman durch Anwendung der Raumtheorie von Jurij M. Lotman. Aus diesem Grund beginnt die vorliegende Ausarbeitung mit einer kurzen Zusammenfassung der Theorie Lotmans, hierbei werden die Begriffe Raum, Grenze und Sujet erl?utert und in Beziehung zueinander gebracht.2 Im Anschluss werden zwei Beispiele f?r Anwendungen der Theorie beschrieben und besondere Aspekte dieser Arbeiten vorgestellt: zum einen eine Arbeit von Karl Nikolaus Renner aus dem Jahr 1983, die sich mit Heinrich von Kleists Erz?hlung 'Der Findling' besch?ftigt,3 zum anderen eine Untersuchung von Hartmut Heuermann, Peter H?hn und Brigitte R?ttger, die 1982 unter dem Titel 'Werkstruktur und Rezeptionsverhalten' ver?ffentlicht wurde.4 Daran anschlie?end wird dann der Roman 'Maigret und die junge Tote' anhand der Theorien Lotmans untersucht.
